DB Spa Repair & Service reserves the right to refuse, deny, discontinue, or cancel service at any time and for any reason deemed necessary, including but not limited to safety concerns, inaccessible equipment, hazardous conditions, abusive behavior, unsafe electrical or plumbing conditions, improper installations, heavily modified equipment, or conditions that may prevent proper or professional service. By scheduling or allowing service to be performed, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms & Conditions in full.

This includes, but is not limited to: Spas with heavily modified or improperly installed components “Jerry-rigged” repairs or unsafe wiring/plumbing Units that have been worked on by multiple individuals to the point that extensive reverse engineering or correction of previous mistakes would be required We reserve the right to decline service on units that are unsafe, inaccessible, heavily neglected, or deemed unreliable to repair properly.

3.Units We Do Not Service

DB Spa Repair & Service does not provide repair or maintenance services for the following types of units: Inflatable hot tubs Soft tubs or foam-type hot tubs Wooden barrel hot tubs In-ground pools or in-ground spa systems Jetted bathtubs (commonly referred to as "jacuzzi' tubs located inside bathrooms) Infrared sauna units (unless sold by Simple Spas) Cold plunge units (unless sold by Simple Spas) Steam shower units Any hot tub that is not a conventional above-ground acrylic fiberglass spa commonly sold through authorized retailers or manufacturers We reserve the right to refuse service on any unit that falls outside our standard area of specialization or that we determine cannot be serviced safely, properly, or economically.

4.Appointments & Scheduling

Service appointments are scheduled subject to availability. We reserve the right to reschedule or cancel appointments due to unforeseen circumstances. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you in advance.

5.Advance Appointment Confirmation Policy

To help us manage our service schedule, appointments booked well in advance may require confirmation before the scheduled service date. Appointments booked more than 30 days in advance, as well as long-distance appointments booked more than 7 days in advance, require confirmation at least 48 hours before the appointment. If confirmation is not received by the requested deadline, the appointment may be released and rescheduled based on availability.

6.Service Areas & Scheduling Policy

DB Spa Repair & Service provides service throughout the San Fernando Valley, Santa Clarita Valley, most of the San Gabriel Valley, and select areas of Los Angeles. Appointments within the primary service area, including the San Fernando Valley, Santa Clarita Valley, and most of the San Gabriel Valley, will generally be scheduled at the next available appointment. Appointments within the main Los Angeles city area, including Central and West Los Angeles (generally from Downtown Los Angeles to Playa del Rey), may be scheduled only on designated Los Angeles service days or on weekends, depending on technician availability and route scheduling. Service requests within the Los Angeles service area are subject to review and approval. Certain locations may be declined based on travel distance, routing, scheduling availability, technician workload, or other operational considerations. Customers requesting service within designated Los Angeles service areas acknowledge that appointment availability may be limited to specific service days. Requests for appointments outside of those designated service days may not be available. DB Spa Repair & Service reserves the right to determine service area boundaries, approve or decline service requests, establish technician routes, and modify scheduling policies at its sole discretion. Service areas, scheduling procedures, and availability are subject to change without notice.

7.Customer Presence Required for Extended Service Areas

For service appointments outside of the San Fernando Valley, an adult (18 years or older) must be present during our service visit. Unless otherwise stated Being present allows our technician to: Review any issues discovered during the inspection. Explain recommended repairs and answer any questions. Obtain authorization to perform repairs when applicable. Complete repairs during the same visit whenever possible. Review the completed work and collect payment upon completion. Because extended service areas require significant travel time, our goal is to complete as much work as possible during a single visit. If no authorized adult is available during the appointment, we will need to reschedule the service for a time when someone can be present.

8.Customer-Supplied Parts Policy

By choosing to supply your own parts, you acknowledge and agree that DB Spa Repair & Service provides no warranty, express or implied, on any customer-supplied parts. Any manufacturer's warranty or warranty provided by the place of purchase is solely between the customer and the manufacturer or retailer, and the customer is responsible for handling all warranty claims directly. If the supplied parts are incorrect, incompatible, defective, damaged, incomplete, or fail during or after installation, all applicable service call fees, diagnostic charges, labor charges, trip charges, and any additional parts, supplies, or materials required will remain the responsibility of the customer. If the customer supplies parts based on their own diagnosis or the diagnosis of another person or company, DB Spa Repair & Service is not responsible if those parts do not correct the problem. Diagnostic, installation, and labor charges are non-refundable regardless of whether the supplied parts resolve the reported issue. Should the customer-supplied parts need to be removed, replaced, or reinstalled due to defects, incompatibility, incorrect specifications, or misdiagnosis, additional labor and service charges will apply. The customer assumes all risks associated with the use of customer-supplied parts, and DB Spa Repair & Service is not responsible for delays, repeat service visits, equipment damage resulting from defective or incorrect customer-supplied parts, or assistance with warranty claims.

9.Payment

Payment is due upon completion of service unless otherwise agreed to in writing. We accept cash, check, and major credit cards. Unpaid invoices may be subject to collection proceedings. Returned checks, chargebacks, reversed payments, or disputed transactions may be subject to additional fees, collection actions, and suspension or denial of future services. For certain appointments, including rental properties, vacant homes, commercial properties, or situations where the customer will not be present during service, we may require a valid credit card to be securely kept on file prior to or during the appointment. If the customer leaves the property before the service visit is completed, payment may be required upfront before departure, or a valid credit card must be placed on file while our technicians are onsite. A temporary $10 authorization charge may be processed to verify that the card is valid. This amount will be credited toward the final balance due for the visit. Failure to provide payment upon completion of service may result in late fees, cancellation of warranties, suspension of future services, and/or collection or small claims proceedings.
